Founded by Nicky Romero in 2012, Protocol Recordings is one of the leading imprints for innovative electronic dance music. It boasts a roster of heavy hitters, complemented by immensely talented up-and-comers such as Thomas Gold, Deniz Koyu, Teamworx, Futuristic Polar Bears, Trilane, Marcus Santoro, Stadiumx, Tim van Werd, Timmo Hendriks, Marc Benjamin and Nicky Romero himself, to name a few. With support from heavyweights such as Afrojack, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Martin Garrix, R3HAB, and many more, Dannic has been in the scene for quite sometime now and continues to make waves. One of his career standouts was performing an electrifying set during the final âI Am Hardwell: United We Areâ show at Germanyâs Hockenheim, marking the first show that DJs had ever performed at the racing track, as well as stops that included the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York City. He also owns and operates his label Fonk Recordings to support up-and-coming artists with their works and has played at iconic festivals such as Creamfields, Tomorrowland, Miami Music Week, Ultra Music Festival, EDC Las Vegas, Parookaville, and more. Stay tuned for more coming from Dannic, Kristianex and the rest of the Protocol gang this holiday season and beyond.

Returning to Revealed Recordings after 3 years since his last solo release âBlazeâ, Dutch driving force Dannic once again collaborates with UK vocalist, DJ and producer Harrison with âBurn Me Downâ, their first release together since 2015âs acclaimed âMaydayâ also featuring LuckyDate.
The trackâs soft blossoming strings provide the ideal soundscape for Harrisonâs angelic vocal delivery, brimming the track towards its floor-filling conclusion, and demonstrating why Dannic is quickly becoming one of the go-to names of big-room, grooving house. Bringing his creative vision to the track in question, Harrisonâs previous collaborations include Knife Party, David Guetta, Laidback Luke, Steve Aoki and Hardwell, whilst garnering support from the likes of TiĂ«sto, Avicii, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, BBC Radio 1âs Danny Howard and most recently, Zane Lowe on Apple Beats 1 Radio with his raw, distinctive sound.
âBurn Me Downâ once again exhibits Dannicâs ambition to deliver standout, timeless classic â a determination shared with the songs collaborative partner Harrison. With a body of work already boasting 6.5 million streams on this yearâs âChase The Sunâ (feat. Hardwell & Kelli-Leigh), 7.3 million streams on 2017âs re-work of Fragmaâs 2001 global smash hit âTocaâs Miracleâ (featuring Fedde Le Grand & Coco Star), and 4.8 million streams streams on last yearâs dance-pop hit âStayâ (feat.INNA), it becomes apparent why Dutch electro house continue dominating the game.
