DANNIC / PRIVACY

Your data.

This website is run by Daan Romers, performing as Dannic. For questions about your details, email info@djdannic.com.

You choose the updates you receive. A booking enquiry, radio request or DJ application does not automatically subscribe you to a newsletter. We do not sell your personal information or build a profile of your listening history.

Manage your preferences

What we save and why

Member downloads. We save which member requests a file, the release, file revision and time. This provides private access, prevents misuse and measures download starts and unique members. A request does not prove the complete file was saved. Email updates are optional. Your download history is included in your data export and removed when you delete your account.

Music updates. Your email, chosen topics (new music, Fonk Monthly Mix, exclusive content or DJ updates) or track reminder, optional city and language, and confirmation history. We use your consent to send the updates you select. We keep a record of campaign emails, delivery status, bounces and spam complaints to avoid duplicate or unwanted messages. Each update includes an unsubscribe link that works without signing in. You can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect earlier lawful use.

DJ promo and Fonk requests. Your DJ name, playing context, optional social profile, application note, selected record and request history. These let us assess your application and provide the access or response you request. The team reviews DJ applications; there is no automated acceptance decision. A support link is reviewed privately. Permission to feature it is separate and can be withdrawn on your DJ page.

Bookings. Your name, work email and event details go to Yossi de Groot at Dedicated Agency, with the Dannic team copied at info@djdannic.com. We use them to respond to your enquiry and discuss a possible booking. Submitting does not confirm availability.

Radio stations. Station, contact and programme details let the Fonk team assess your request. Accepted stations are managed in Fonk Monthly OS for episode delivery. This website handles the application.

We use the information necessary to provide a requested service or take steps towards an agreement. Our legitimate interests also include answering enquiries, reviewing professional applications and protecting the website against misuse. Optional marketing and permission to publish your support rely on your consent.

Services used by this website

The site is hosted on Vercel. Supabase stores website records and uploaded media and provides the administration sign-in service. Resend processes email addresses, message content and delivery information to send email. The hosting provider processes technical connection information, including IP addresses, to deliver and protect the service. Our application uses short-lived hashed identifiers to limit repeated requests.

Fonts are hosted on this website. Some release artwork is loaded from Apple, Spotify and the original music providers. Embedded music, video, Instagram posts and Songstats statistics connect to the named provider when you load them. Fonk audio connects to Podbean when played. Providers receive connection information and may use their own cookies or account settings.

Demo uploads use the existing Dropbox file-request service. SIGNR, Tourhere and external music or ticket services have their own privacy terms. Your fan list details are not automatically transferred to those services.

Some providers process information outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Their privacy information explains their processing and transfer arrangements: Vercel, Supabase and Resend. Contact info@djdannic.com for questions about the arrangements applicable to your data.

Optional website analytics

If you choose “Allow analytics”, Google Analytics measures public page visits, clicks to music platforms and audio starts. We do not send your email, form text, query parameters or private access links. This is separate from your email subscriptions. Google receives technical connection information when analytics loads.

Analytics stays off until you agree. Advertising features and Google signals are disabled. Your choice is stored on this device for up to 180 days; analytics cookies also have a 180-day lifetime. Use “Privacy choices” to change your choice or stop future measurement. This does not delete data already received by Google. Google privacy information.

Cookies and access

After email verification, an essential session cookie keeps your preferences accessible for up to two hours. Access links expire after twenty minutes. Website administration uses a separate sign-in service. We do not add advertising pixels to this website. Third-party content may apply its own privacy settings after you choose to load it.

How long we keep information

Unconfirmed fan requests become eligible for removal after seven days and are cleared during subsequent signup activity. Confirmed preferences and consent history remain while your account is retained. Unsubscribing stops the chosen updates; it does not delete your account. You can download or delete your fan details from the preferences page.

Booking and radio enquiries are retained while the enquiry or resulting professional relationship is being handled, and where needed to resolve a dispute or meet a legal obligation. You can ask the team to review or remove them. Provider email records and previously created backups are separate from the active website database; deleting an account does not instantly erase every backup or message already delivered.

Your choices and rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email info@djdannic.com. We may need to verify that the information belongs to you. We normally respond within one month and will explain if more time is needed. You can also contact the Dutch data protection authority or your local supervisory authority.
